Bridging Classic Techniques and Contemporary Vision

About
I’m a self-taught artist based in the heart of Hertfordshire, working primarily in oils and acrylic, with a deep-rooted passion for realism. I like to bring my subjects to life through vibrant colours and attention to detail inspired by the old Dutch masters. I have a contemporary realistic still-life style with elements of photorealism and classical chiaroscuro.
Medically retired at a young age due to an MS diagnosis, I chose to reignite my lifelong passion for art. I create every day, constantly exploring new techniques and pushing my creative boundaries. Art has not only been a personal journey but also a powerful tool in supporting my mental wellbeing.
I have built a vibrant community of like-minded artists and enthusiasts, sharing my love for creativity through monthly workshops and weekly art classes held from my home in Letchworth. Teaching is a true passion, and I’m dedicated to passing on my knowledge and encouraging others on their own artistic journeys. Watching my students’ creations come to life continues to be one of my greatest joys.
